HR Leader of the Year

For experienced professionals driving strategic HR transformation.
Who can apply: HR professionals with 10+ years of experience in a senior role.

Criteria:

  • Demonstrated impact on HR strategy, transformation, or digitalization

  • Proven influence on company culture or workforce performance

  • Ability to lead complex change or scale HR operations

Example submissions:

  • Led an HR digital transformation across multiple departments

  • Rebuilt the performance management system for a regional company

  • Developed an HR function from scratch during a company expansion

Future HR Star (Under 30)

For emerging HR professionals showing exceptional promise.
Who can apply: HR professionals under the age of 30, in any role or industry.

Criteria:

  • Creative or tech-driven HR ideas or projects

  • Active participation in initiatives that improved employee experience

  • Leadership in early-career roles or internships

Example submissions:

  • Created a peer feedback system in a small startup

  • Launched a wellness campaign that boosted team morale

  • Led recruitment for a company’s first graduate program

Outstanding Female HR Professional

Recognizing women in HR who are leading with purpose and impact.

  • Contribution to DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) in the workplace

HR Rising Talent (Emirati Edition)

Celebrating the achievements of UAE National HR professionals.
Who can apply: Emirati nationals working in any HR capacity.

Criteria:

  • Notable contributions to UAE-based HR functions

  • Leadership or innovation within a local or government organization

  • Cultural or policy alignment with Emiratization efforts

Example submissions:

  • Improved onboarding and retention in a government entity

  • Designed an Emirati graduate program for a local company

  • Supported Emiratization targets through effective hiring strategies

People Champion Award

For HR professionals who put people at the heart of everything they do.
Who can apply: Any HR team member known for their empathy, support, and commitment to employees.

Criteria:

  • Recognized by peers or staff as a supportive and approachable HR partner

  • Demonstrated care and advocacy during tough workplace situations

  • Contributions to wellbeing, mental health, or employee support systems

Example submissions:

  • Personally supported employees through layoffs or crisis

  • Launched peer-support or mentorship programs

  • Led informal check-ins and wellbeing campaigns during high-stress periods

Evaluation and Selection Process

The evaluation and selection process for the Hance Consulting Awards is designed to be transparent, fair, and impartial. It is conducted through a point-based system by a panel of industry experts, ensuring that only the most deserving candidates are recognized. Below is a detailed breakdown of the process:

1. Evaluation Process

  • Point-Based Scoring System: Each nominee will be evaluated against key criteria specific to their award category. The panel of industry experts will assign scores based on how well the nominee meets these criteria. Points will be awarded in several categories, including but not limited to:

    • Alignment with the award values of excellence, leadership, and innovation.

    • Impact and measurable achievements, including specific examples and data where applicable.

    • Creativity and originality in implementing solutions, strategies, or practices.

    • Sustainability and long-term benefits of the nominee's initiatives.

2. Steps in the Evaluation Process

  1. Initial Screening:

    • All submissions are first reviewed for completeness. Incomplete or invalid applications will be excluded.

    • The nominee eligibility is checked to ensure they fit within the defined criteria for the specific category.

  2. Scoring and Ranking:

    • Each nominee will be given a total score based on the sum of their individual scores across all evaluation criteria.

    • Scores will be compared, and the nominees with the highest scores in each category will be selected as finalists.

  3. Announcement of Winners:

    • Winners are announced following a final review and the panel's unanimous or majority decision.

    • All nominees will be informed about the results and any next steps.

By maintaining a comprehensive, transparent, and standardized evaluation process, Hance Consulting ensures that the awards reflect the highest standards of excellence and integrity.

Recognition and Rewards

Winners and nominees will be celebrated and rewarded for their exceptional achievements. This recognition is designed not only to honor their contributions but also to provide them with valuable opportunities to further their personal and organizational success.

 

Winners

  • Award Trophies: Winners will receive unique, custom-designed trophies that symbolize their excellence and achievements in their respective categories. These trophies will serve as a lasting memento of their success.

  • Media Exposure: Winners will be prominently featured in Hance Consulting’s marketing materials, and social media platforms. This exposure will provide visibility to their achievements, increasing their reputation within the industry and among potential clients, partners, and talent.

  • Free Consulting Services from Hance Consulting: As part of the recognition, winners will be awarded complimentary HR consulting services for a set period. This may include strategic advice, talent acquisition support, or employee engagement consultations to further enhance their organizational development based on request.

  • Official Certification: Winners will receive an official Hance Consulting Award Certificate, acknowledging their accomplishment and commitment to excellence. The certificate can be proudly displayed in their offices or shared digitally.

 

Nominees

  • Certificates of Recognition: All nominees, whether winners or not, will receive a Certificate of Recognition to honour their contributions. This certificate will acknowledge their efforts and alignment with the values of excellence, leadership, and innovation.

  • Media Exposure: Nominees will also be recognized in Hance Consulting’s media channels, such as social media shout-outs, highlighting their efforts and showcasing their organizations as leaders in the industry.

  • Discounted Consulting Services: Nominees will receive a special discounted rate for Hance Consulting’s services, enabling them to benefit from expert Hance’s expert team.

 

Timeline

  • May 1 to June 30, 2025: Nomination submissions.

  • July 1 to July 15, 2025: Evaluation of submissions.

  • July end 2025: Announcing the winners.
